Upon finishing school, Adien found himself transitioning from the world of film and animation into pursuing music full time, so he moved to Los Angeles and began working with various local producers and songwriters.

At the tail end of 2016, he released a couple of original tracks, “Play It By Ear (feat. Marc Avery)” and “Amazing”, and co-produced "Everyday Christmas," a song by the star of Nickelodeon's Make It Pop, Megan Lee. Throughout 2017, Adien found success writing and featuring as a guest vocalist on various releases for DJs, including "Safehouse" with Dr. Phunk through Hardwell's Revealed label, Tony Kelly's Ice Cream Riddim, and releases with DJ Mattway and Luca Testa, which ended up charting in various countries.

By the end of 2017, Adien found himself co-writing and producing the lead single for Lee Tae-min’s 2nd album, “MOVE.” Released through the major label, SM Entertainment in South Korea, the song spawned three official music videos, amassing a total 20 million views to date. The song, album, and Taemin’s performance all went on to be nominated for multiple awards in 2017, including MNet Music Awards, and the Korean Music Awards.

Adien has since been in the studio diligently working on new original material and has released "How To" and "Signature I" as singles for his upcoming EP "Take Two"
